Ennovate®
Ennovate® is a modular platform from the German company Aesculap AG used for correction and stabilization of one or more spinal segments via fusion.
Who is it for?
The purpose of the system is to relieve patients suffering from severe spinal disorders that cannot be treated by conventional means. In addition to correcting and fixing fractures, degenerative and post-traumatic instabilities, dislocations, sagittal vertebral displacement and more, Ennovate® platform represents one of the most advanced ways to address fractures in pediatric and adult patients. For functional reasons, this system is not advisable when injury or disease has resulted in disruption of the bone structure of the spine that would interfere with stable anchorage.
Why Ennovate®
As the new standard in posterior fixation, the Ennovate® platform embodies a versatile and groundbreaking solution in a comprehensive package. Its advantages are elegance and simplicity – one screw, one system, one base for all surgical methods and a wide range of pathological indications.
The platform includes a titanium pedicle screw with excellent biomechanical properties, using Pentacore® and PolyLock® functionality. This gives the performing surgeon the unique ability to lock and fix the screw head in the exact position required by the procedure or to suit their workflow, which until recently was not possible. The system therefore guarantees intraoperative flexibility of the highest level and leads to a radical simplification of the work in the operating theatre
It is currently the only platform in the world applicable to all types of spinal fusion.
TSpace 3D®
Intervertebral cages ort he transforaminal interbody fusion system by the German company Aesculap AG are intended for monosegmental and multisegmental stabilization of the lumbar and thoracic spine.
Who is it for?
TSpace 3D® system is designed for patients suffering from degenerative and post-traumatic instabilities of the spine, sagittal vertebral displacement or post-discectomy syndrome. It allows implantation by open or minimally invasive approach. The TSpace 3D® has to be used in conjunction with an internal fixator, for example the Ennovate® system, at all times. For functional reasons, this system is not advisable when injury or disease has resulted in disruption of the bone structures of the spine which would interfere with stable anchorage of the implant.
Why TSpace 3D®?
The implant was manufactured using an innovative 3D printing technology that allows the creation of complex, porous and lattice-like AESCULAP® Structan® structures that promote the growth and penetration of bone tissue into the implant body. The TSpace 3D® system is based on a rigid frame without sharp edges, which offers excellent biomechanical stability and smooth insertion into the disc space minimizing the risk of injuring surrounding soft tissue.
The unique design of the implant guarantees sufficient elasticity to prevent vertebral subsidence and compressive strength to ensure high resistance to damage. The implant’s lattice structure is also easily identifiable during intraoperative and postoperative imaging by X-ray or CT.
